The NODER Mobile Access app replaces the physical RFID card in the NODER Access Control System.
As a user of our access control system, you have complete flexibility. You can choose to use a traditional physical card or replace it with a virtual card on your phone. You may also use both the physical and virtual cards simultaneously within NODER Access Control System.

Is it safe to use the NODER Mobile Access app?
Yes, NODER Mobile Access app is fully secure.
The app allows an NFC-equipped phone to be used as a unique identifier in access control systems.
It uses NFC technology and a number for this purpose, which cannot be read, copied or reproduced on another phone. Data is encrypted during transmission and the app itself does not share any personal data with third parties.
What are the hardware requirements for the NODER Mobile Access app?
The NODER Mobile Access app has the following requirements:
Android and NFC-enabled phone
An active activation code obtained from your NODER access control system administrator. (Not sure how to obtain an activation code? Contact us.)
Internet access for the duration of the code activation
Does the NODER Mobile Access app use the NFC serial card number?
No, it does not use the serial number of the NFC card embedded in the phone.
Such a number can easily be copied (cloned) to another device, which is why the NODER Mobile Access app does not use the available NFC number. The app uses NFC technology for communication, not the NFC card serial number that is visible to everyone.
Is it possible to read the card number used in the NODER Mobile Access application?
No, this is not possible.
The NODER Mobile Access app does not use the NFC number to communicate with the access control system, which can be read by available apps or readers.
How do I open the door with my NFC phone?
Depending on the configuration, the Access Control Administrator has the option to configure the system so that the door can be opened when the phone is placed against one of our readers and when:
the phone is awake and unlocked,
the phone is only awake but does not have to be unlocked at that time.
Can someone copy my NFC card number?
It is not possible to copy an NFC number.

Can I use my phone as a door card?
Of course you can use your phone as a door card.

Are RFID and NFC the same thing?
Is it possible to copy the RFID card?
RFID is a very broadly defined radio frequency identification technology. Over the years, more specialised technologies have been incorporated into RFID, some of which allow the serial number to be copied, or duplicated.
Therefore, the NODER Mobile Access application does not use an available NFC number, but uses NFC technology to communicate with the NODER access control system.
What happens if I lose my phone?
The same procedure should be followed as in the case of loss of a physical access card in the form of, for example, a badge.
The fact that the phone has been lost or stolen should be reported to the System Administrator, who will remotely deactivate such a card so that a person who has come into possession of such a device cannot gain unauthorised access to the premises.
Is it possible to integrate NODER mobile credentials with other software?
Yes, it is possible. We have an API for such projects. You will be able to manage the virtual card directly from your solution in accordance with your user management policy.
Does it work with Bluetooth readers?
Yes, the NODER Mobile Access app works with BLE- and NFC-equipped readers.
Do I need a subscription to use a virtual card?
Yes. With the free NODER Mobile Access app, you can assign an unlimited number of encrypted mobile credentials, also known as virtual cards. These must be ordered as part of a subscription.
